Galentine’s Day PJ Party
There is no better way than to bring all your girl friends together than to throw a PJ PARTY this Galentine’s Day! A cozy morning to celebrate friendship with the amazing ladies in your life.
To take some the stress out of hosting Galentine’s I want to share with you all inspiration in this blog post to recreate this into your own! You will find an editable invitation below as well as a menu and links to everything I used- mostly can be purchased from Amazon making it easy for next day shipping.
The theme for this party was a cutie PJ PARTY- think slumber party but for adults- lots of pink, cozy moments. A pink canopy draped over the couch for a cozy sitting area and photo opportunity for the ladies. A self serve mimosa fountain and lots of delicious brunch food like my French Toast Casserole, Sheet Pan Quesadillas and $24 Walmart cake that really stole the show!
tips to host a galentine’s party
CREATE A MOOD BOARD- this will really help set the ambiance and vibes for your dinner party. Usually I go on Pinterest and type in ideas for my party and put those pictures on one Canva doc that way I can see all the picture together and plan out what I really want to be a part of the party or not. This also helps me to stay on track with decor.
CREATE A MENU- when curating a menu for a brunch party I like to make it balanced with something sweet and something savory as well as fillers like a yogurt parfait bar and mini cupcakes for people to pick at. I also like to make brunch items that I can easily prep the day before! You can find my full menu below for this party!
MAKE AN INVITATION- making and sending out an invitation is a lovely touch to send to the people you are inviting. I like to include the color scheme or overall theme in my invite so friends kinda know what to expect, gives them ideas on what to wear and is a little preview to the party all together! An invite gets people excited for the party you are having!
Details that went into this party to make it special:
PHOTOBOOTH- this Photo Booth was the main character of the entire party. Every girl left with a picture memory of the event and it was so fun seeing everyone enjoy using it! Lots of filters and background to choose from on the Photo Booth itself. You can find it a link to buy it here. Just make sure you get extra paper for it too.
MIMOSA FOUNTAIN- how fun is this to serve up mimosa’s. I will be using this on repeat for my parties to serve up batch made drinks. A self serve drink bar makes it easy for people to serve themselves and THIS fountain is just a whole moment at any party.
PINK CANOPY- a really inexpensive way to girl up this brunch party and create a whole cozy, comfy, slumber party vibe at the party! I hung this using command hooks which easily came off after the party was over. It made for a cute photo opp too.
$24 WALMART CAKE- This is my $24 Walmart cake order 💓🎂
- I asked for the 8” “welcome baby girl heart cake”
- Without the big bow on top
- With edible glitter spray
- You can customize it to say whatever you like on top
Make sure you order min 2 days ahead of time. I called my local Walmart bakery to order this which was easy but you can also order online
Pro tip:
A brunch menu is one of the easiest to plan and host people over because you can prep a lot of the food the day before. French toast casserole, brie cheese frittata, trifle tiramisu, fresh fruit- it can all be prepared the day before and actually tastes better when prepared in advanced.
Bows on candle sticks always add a festive elegant touch! This is the BEST ribbon I have found for making the most perfect bows. It’s high quality at a great price!
Below you will find an editable invitation to make hosting this party that much easier! Simply add in your party details and send out the invitations to friends.
Galentine’s brunch PARTY MENU
For this dinner monthly themed dinner party, I decided to make it BRUNCH! It just fit into the theme seamlessly since this was all the cozy PJ & slumber party vibes. I had a mimosa fountain, a sweet and savory breakfast bake dish that was fully prepped the day before, a yogurt parfait bar, cupcakes, cookies and a cake. Feel free to use this menu for your upcoming Galentine’s day or any spring time brunch! Truly it came together with zero stress because most was prepped the day before hand.
EASY BRUNCH MENU:
Overnight French Toast Casserole: I have two versions of this. One being a Very Berry French toast casserole bake and a Raspberry Lemon French Toast Casserole- pick your favorite to make! Both can be fully prepped the night before and are always a crowd pleaser!
Sheet Pan Breakfast Quesadilla: filled with all your favorite savory bites- eggs, sausage, veggies and baked in a crispy tortilla! This breakfast bake was made to feed a crowd.
Yogurt Parfait Bar: I like to level this up by using coupe glasses to serve up the yogurt in. This is a self sever bar so it takes the stress off of the host as everyone can serve themselves. Yogurt, berries, granola- EASY set up.
