Ingredients for brie cheese lemon curd tarts
This appetizer requires minimal ingredients and you can add in any jam you’d like - I like to go with one whose color is really going to POP in the center of the tart to really mimic a flower! I used lemon curd and raspberry jam but feel free to use any one you have on hand.
Here’s a list of ingredients that I used to make these:
Pie crust (use Pillsbury, it is easy to roll out from the fridge and press into flower shapes)
Brie cheese
Lemon curd (or raspberry jam or jam of choice)
Egg
To cut the pie crust into flower shapes I used a flower shaped cookie cutter.
I dusted on some icing sugar at the end just for a beautiful display but this is not necessary to the recipe. It is such a light sprinkle that it truly does not enhance the flavor.
If you like this easy appetizer I suggest you also make these flower pot charcuterie cups!

Brie Cheese Lemon Curd Flower Tarts
A bite sized appetizer in the shape of a flower is exactly what you want to make this Spring & Summer! These tarts have a sweet zesty bite to them and are really easy to make and serve to friends & family.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets of Pillsbury Pie Crust (each package comes with 2 sheets so you only need one package)
- 4-5 oz brie cheese chopped into small slices
- 1/2 cup of lemon curd (or jam of choice)
- 1 beaten egg (egg wash)
- icing sugar (garnish- optional just lightly dusted on)
- optional toppings- raspberries or blueberries
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 F and lightly grease a mini muffin pan
- Roll out the pie crust and use a flower cookie cutter to cut the sh apes
- Lightly press each pie crust flower into the mini muffin pan (I used the back of a wooden spoon to help me do this carefully) and let the petals fold naturally up the sides to give that pretty flower tart shape
- Add in 1 cube of brie to the middle of each flower tart and a 1 tsp of lemon curd or jam (optional: add a blueberry or raspberry now)
- Brush egg wash only on the pie crust petals (avoid adding it to the middle where the jam and brie are)
- Bake at 375 F for 12-15 minutes until pie crust is golden and brie has melted
- After baked, let them sit for a few minutes then remove for the muffin tray and arrange on a platter of choice.
- Serve as is or dust lightly with powdered sugar to look bakery-level chic!
Notes
These are fabulous served with prosecco or a dry white wine
