Ingredients for Blue Cheese stuffed dates
A match made in heaven- a creamy funky blue cheese with a sweet caramelized date and drizzle of honey .. is the ultimate dream team! If you are looking for a specific blue cheese, I have options for you!
Starter blue cheese: Cambozola Classic- a beginner blue that is a cross between a brie and blue cheese. It is a creamy soft blue with just a little bit of funk. Perfect for those who love a creamier blue cheese or want to try blue cheese!
Intermediate blue cheese: Cambozola Black Label- A creamy but rich & bolder blue with more of that funk. This blue cheese was made for those that really want to taste the juxtaposition of flavors of this recipe and who enjoy blue cheeses.
You can prep this ahead of time and then pop into the oven just before people come over, that way it is served warm and fresh straight from the oven.
I recommend serving these in a pie dish or serving tray with a bit of a lip around it, that way nothing spills if you carry from one table to the next.
