It is that time of the year where brie cheese is selling out in stores because it truly is the best cheese to add onto just about anything. Even a crispy baguette! I highly suggest you have brie cheese on hand for hosting because this appetizer comes together in no time at all and is always a crowd pleaser to serve up. Just add on your brie cheese and jam of choice and bake this until melty. Serve as an appetizer or even as a side dish for any upcoming get together 🧀

Quality of brie cheese matters! I always recommend using a brie cheese that is French- brie cheese originated in France so if it is French you know it’s creamy, has notes of mushroom and will melt really well! When melted, the cheaper brie cheeses can often pool with oil which means they aren’t the best quality and stuffed with fillers & additives. When making baked brie, spend a little bit more on the cheese to make sure it’s a quality one.
I used regular honey for this recipe but if you are looking to add on some heat, try hot honey! It is not too spicy but has a nice heat to it that make this delicious!
If you like this recipe you will want to make some of my other brie cheese recipes:

TIP: drizzle the honey on AFTER this bakes! If you bake honey it becomes very liquidy and watery. It’s always best to put on after for a garnish to keep its original form.
