Charcuterie & Cheese Bouquet Edible Arrangement

This Charcuterie Bouquet is such a crowd pleaser of an appetizer to serve up and makes a lovely gift or centerpiece for so many different occasions! It might look complicated but it was actually so easy to make and cost me less than $25 to put together! An appetizer on a budget.

Think an edible arrangement but CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE! It doesn’t get any better than that. This appetizer is made entirely in an edible base of a melon. You could also use a watermelon or cantaloupe. I added in cheeses, charcuterie and fruits to make it a fully edible bouquet. It not only make a beautiful appetizer but it could make a great hostess gift or Mother’s day gift for mom. It is really easy to put together and the entire thing is edible. You are going to want to make this one for your next spring & summer get together!🌸

Ingredients for cheese and charcuterie bouquet

This appetizer requires minimal ingredients and you can add in anything you’d like - think seasonal items or if you are having a themed party to include like food color items. I used a honey dew melon as my base but you could use a watermelon or a cantaloupe as well. To cover any of the skewers, I used fresh mint which smelled SO good and made this come together as a realistic looking FULL bouquet. You could also opt for fresh basil as well.

Here’s a list of ingredients that I used to make mine:

  • melon or cantaloupe

  • Havarti cheese

  • Gouda cheese

  • salami

  • strawberries

  • blackberries

  • pineapple

  • kiwi

  • grapes

  • fresh mint (to fill in spaces at the end)

For the skewers, I added in a variety of large and small wooden skewers. This helped to have some height in the bouquet. You can also simply break or cut the larger sticks in half. I stuck in all the longer and bigger skewers first. Then, I added the smaller wooden picks to the front and around the sides of the bouquet at the end.

Beside the edible charcuterie arrangement feel free to add in a cracker plate or jam & dips to pair with the cheese, charcuterie and fruit.
