Ingredients for Hot Honey Whipped Feta with Sweet Potatoes
Whipped feta is one of the easiest dips to make and why I love it so much is because it is so versatile in the way you can pair it with different ingredients to elevate it even more. Adding these caramelized sweet potatoes on top will really bring that whipped feta to the next level. I love serving this as an appetizer but it also makes for the perfect side dish to a roast beef dinner, turkey or chicken.
I will usually make extra sweet potatoes to have on hand because they are just THAT good to snack on or meal prep for a make ahead side dish.
Ingredients you need to make this dip are below so you can easily shop at the grocery store:
American Sweet Potatoes
olive oil
smoked paprika
garlic powder
onion powder
salt
pepper
feta cheese
Greek yogurt
olive oil
pepper
lemon juice
hot honey drizzle
Ingredients:
American Sweet Potatoes- di you know that American Sweet Potatoes are jam packed with Vitamin A, C and E and filled with fiber making them the perfect healthy snack and appetizer. They caramelize beautifully in the oven and their sweetness complements the salty whipped feta cheese so well.
Feta Cheese- I used feta cheese crumbles because they are really easy to whip up in a food processor or blender. You can also use a feta cheese block. Make sure you strain out any feta cheese brine/water that it comes in because you do not want your whipped feta to be watery. You can also put the feta block in a paper towel to dry it off if that helps before whipping it up. If you want to substitute this cheese for one less salty, try using a full fat ricotta cheese instead.
Lemon juice- this is optional for the whipped feta but I like to add it because it balances out the tangy salty flavor of the feta cheese.
Hot Honey- a sweet heat that is the perfection addition to this easy cheese appetizer. This is my favorite hot honey to add to dips, pizza, appetizers and other baked brie recipes. I always have it on hand in the pantry. It is optional and you can always make the dip without it.
What to serve this dip with:
Firehook Crackers- you all know I love these crackers! They are made with minimal ingredients, no additives and really the perfect sturdy cracker to dip into this dip and take a crunchy bite)
Pita chips
Crackers
A warm baguette

Instructions
- Set oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Peel the skin off and chop your American sweet potatoes into small cubes and add them on the baking sheet
