Ingredients for Hot Artichoke Dip

The perfect appetizer, does exist! This dip is cheesy, hot, bubbly and packed with flavor despite it being made with only 4 ingredients. Some of the artichoke dips you see online might be made with mayo, I prefer using sour cream but you can use them interchangeable depending on taste preference. I think the sour cream balances out the artichokes and cheese better.

Ingredients you need to make this dip are below so you can easily shop at the grocery store:

  • Cream cheese

  • Sour Cream

  • Artichokes

  • Mozzarella cheese

  • Salt & pepper

  • Parsley (optional garnish)

What to serve this dip with:

4 Ingredient Easy Hot Artichoke Dip

This dip recipe only requires 4 ingredients- it’s easy, cheesy and never fails to impress as the appetizer of the party. Everyone will be asking you for the recipe on how to get the iconic cheese pull for this dip!

Ingredients

  • 14 oz artichoke hearts (1 can, chopped & drained)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • chopped parsley (garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 F
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and season with salt and pepper (I like to taste the dip cold to see how much salt and pepper I need to add for my liking)
  3. Spread into a small oven safe baking dish. Optional: add some extra shredded mozzarella cheese on top
  4. Bake the dip for 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly
  5. Out of the oven garnish with some chopped parsley
  6. Serve with crackers, bread or pita chips right out of the oven

Notes

  • You can make this ahead of time and cover and store in the fridge until you are ready to bake (I have even prepared this the day before a party)
  • You can add a minced garlic clove for extra flavor if you'd like!
